La présidente LR de la région, Valérie Pécresse, a lancé un « appel à manifestation d’intérêt ».

Un coût annuel très lourd (2,2 millions d’euros), un projet culturel qui n’a jamais vraiment été défini, « une capacité du domaine à produire des revenus très incertaine »… Le rapport de la chambre régionale des comptes égratigne la gestion du domaine de Villarceaux et préconise à la région Ile-de-France, qui le gère, d’« examiner une éventuelle résiliation des baux ».

En clair, la cour suggère à la région de rendre le domaine à son propriétaire, la Fondation Charles Léopold Mayer. Dans un tel contexte, la présidente LR de la région, Valérie Pécresse, a lancé dans les colonnes du « Parisien » un « appel à manifestation d’intérêt ». Elle assure avoir déjà été approchée « par deux porteurs de projet », l’un culturel et l’autre touristique.
